Overview

Business Development Manager - This Business Development Manager will work on behalf of a solid, local company that provides a great work environment, excellent compensation and benefits.  This company provides design services and funding for different intities and they are willing to train if candidate comes with a strong sales/customer service background. 

 

Job duties are as follows but not limited to:

  • Build long term relationships to generate new business while servicing existing client base
  • Write and submit professional proposals 
  • Reponsibile for negotiating and executing contracts
  • Follow up on sales leads and obtain orders
  • Track and provide accurate sales information to management on sales activities
  • Submittals of sales orders and job notes to appropriate order processing and technical staff
  • Sales and training presentations to current and prospective clients as well as internal staff
  • Work with management to develop a competitve pricing structure
  • Exceed all company sales goals and objectives

 

Requirements:

  • Previous Sales and/or Business Development experience
  • Profiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and CRM sales tools
  • Technical background preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the year
  • Technical background and knowledge preferred
  • Valid California Driver's License
  • Clean DMV report
  • Clear criminal background check

*This is a direct hire position and offers a base salary plus commission (salary DOE and negotiable)
